The Smartest Guy We Have Seen In A Long, Long, Time!

Many are wondering why Romney did not go after Obama on the Benghazi attack. Why? The press, the Congress and America are already handling the demands for the truth. Why not spend your time on the other things not being answered or that are being pulled into hearings. Romney may be the smartest guy with a campaign sticker with his name on it that our generations of Americans have ever seen. The more I have thought about last night's debate, Romney pulled off the coup of the century! He came away with people viewing him as a President and Commander-in-Chief. He showed strength, yet dedicated to hard diplomatic efforts before military. He showed an incredible knowledge and grasp of the international community and showed where his concerns are and how he would correct problems without military action. He showed a stance equal to what Obama has, but with more determination in results instead of "wait and see" like Obama. He calmed the fears of many Americans, he showed that he is not a hawk like Obama has pictured him but a diplomat with a big stick. Too many times, Obama had nothing to argue with Romney about, so Obama took to personal attacks and belittling of Romney. Romney walked away as the one with the better grasp of international and military affairs and a determination to have a plan work while Obama was still grinning about his "horses and bayonets and aircraft carriers and submarines" remark. We are not better off four years later. We are weaker economically, we have not stopped the escalation of the mid-East and we have given in to Russia on far too many policies. There will be no time for "more flexibility after the election" , Mr. Obama! BELIEVE IN AMERICA! Romney Ryan 2012. They believe in a strong America to gain the respect of the world. Strength in economy and military equals a big stick that doesn't have to be used unless necessary! Our prayers are with you, Mitt. May God Bless America and us.

Truth Doesn't Hide

Funny thing about truth, you can't hide it. You can try and cover it up, try and make it go away, try and change it, Try and ignore it and just lie about it. But truth always comes out. And usually at a very inopportune way. Someone once told me that they did not have a good enough memory to lie. Now that is a truth for everyone. When we lie about something, someone that knows the truth will always appear later on. Lately in the Presidential race, we have seen that later on become over night. I have commented quite a bit over the years about how this administration takes the attitude that you can tell the people anything you want and a good percentage of them will believe it. An even larger percentage will never check out the truthfulness of what you said. But these days, there have been so many lies coming out of the White House and the other administration offices that we have a plethora of "Fact Checking" organizations out there that report no later than the next morning on the truthfulness of any candidates statements. Would someone please tell me why the press has given up their role as the "fact checkers" and let this new "on-line press" group emerge as the experts? For decades and decades, we always went to the press and looked to them for the truth. Even as late as the last decade! But now most of the press has become a cheering section for their candidate and forgotten the responsibility of reporting to be that of facts and truth. Who knows how many new entities now form the "press" because of the degradation of values in the press corps. With electronics and the internet today, the story gets out almost instantly, and the truth follows behind within hours and sometimes weeks, but it always comes out in the end. I predict today that there will be a comparably large margin of victory in the presidential election on November 6th. Romney will win, the truth will win out. The American people are slowly coming to realize that the "demon Romney" that the Obama re-election group is portraying to the public is really a very smart, caring and honest guy. Even Dennis Miller comments that "maybe it is time for a 'Gosh' President". Once in the Republican Primary debates, Romney made a statement about something and he was challenged on it immediately. I saw something happen that I had not seen in him before. He looked puzzled and almost lost. I could instantly tell he was concerned that what he had said was not the truth. He was lost and out of the action for a few minutes this troubled him so much. The next day in a speech he was giving, he made it clear to the press what the truth was (he was 98% correct on the item) and that he had checked into it and verified it. It was not that big of a thing, I don't even remember what it was about, but I do remember it bothering him to no end. That is a sign of an honest man! He was concerned that he had said something that might be wrong. By contrast let us look at Obama. Fast and Furious, Benghazi, oil leases, energy development, employment, unemployment rate, welfare, foreign policy, foreign intervention... Get the picture? This guy is an ongoing lie! Nothing escapes the lie category other than "we are going to party hard" statements. Don't get in the way of his golf, vacations, traveling, and partying. That is the truth! November 6th is less than three weeks away. Our family members, friends, neighbors, church members, work associates and acquaintances need to vote also. To vote, you must be registered. Remind them now. It is a year where truth will not hide and will win out. We are the ones that will bring honesty back to government by voting for honest men and women. BELIEVE IN AMERICA! Romney/Ryan 2012. They hold honesty as a treasured value.

The Destabilization of the World Just Like They Wanted

http://howiewasthinking.blogspot.com/2011/03/hes-back.html This is a link back to my March 31, 2011 post titled "He's Back". I do this for reference back to what I had described would be coming down in the Mid-East. It's happened and is still happening, right where I told you it would. What is it that is happening? A destabilization of the Mid-East prepping for a destabilization of the U.S.A. This is NOT about a stupid video, that is just a convenient excuse, this is about CHANGE! We all know of the evil George Soros and his puppet Barrack Hussein Obama. Well, we have learned more of his other puppets, The Muslim Brotherhood. If you want to create a new world order, how best to do it? Destabilize the world. Europe is pretty well under way, the U.S. has been started on its way and was pushed much further down the road by our puppet president, Asia has been destabilized by the world economic woes and the softening of the future of the dollar that they are so heavily invested in, the severe drop in exports from the Asian area to the U.S., and now a further destabilization in the Mid-East with the latest Muslim Brotherhood backed attacks on our embassies in Tunisia, Yemen, Egypt and the worst, where our Ambassador and three of his staff were killed, Libya. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Egypt and Libya are all run by Shiites and the Muslim Brotherhood. Yemen and Bahrain are still looking at takeovers themselves by rebel Shiite and Muslim Brotherhood groups. Syria, they are a little different. It is the Muslim Brotherhood that is trying to take over from a Shiite dictator. A dictator that does not take instruction well and does not fall into the new more radical Muslim leadership group that is ready to turn most of the Mid-East into a new United Muslim State, as in Muslim Brotherhood State. Why has the United States not been more involved in Syria, it would totally take the quickness of a turn of power in Syria away if the U.S. got involved and forced a quick turnover. Then the U.s. would be lingering around for too long and the quick transition to the more radical Muslim Brotherhood could not take place as fast. What is all this leading up to? Saudi Arabia, and its surrounding Arab states that are still under Sunni control are going to be surrounded by Muslim Brotherhood states, the main narrow points of oil shipping will be controlled by Muslim Brotherhood States, Israel will be surrounded by Muslim Brotherhood States, the disruption of oil to Europe and the West, and the beginning of the elimination of the state of Israel can start. Destabilize, collapse, save and unify. George Soros' plan? Muslim Brotherhood's plan? At this point it doesn't matter which is the major force behind it, or if it is a joint effort. It is happening. Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, has asked to meet with President Obama when he is in New York next week speaking to the U.N. The reply to Israel as reported by the prime minister's staff, “the White House has got back to us and said it appears a meeting is not possible. It said that the president’s schedule will not permit that”. What is Obama doing, campaigning and making an appearance on the David Letterman Show instead. Oh, I almost forgot, Obama has also formerly invited Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi to meet with him in New York next week while he is there. Sorry Benjamin, join the Muslim Brotherhood group and you can get an audience! Today the Fed will probably announce further stimulus by printing more money to buy the U.S. deficit debt, setting us up for hyper-inflation at the first tick of an upswing in our economy. Until then, stagnation will continue to be the order of the day. Greece will need a third bailout. The mainstream media is clearly in Obama's camp and ignoring the real questions and hiding the democrats that are turning against Obama. Weekly jobless claims jump, the amount of people in the workforce has dropped to the lowest levels since the 1980's and the producer price index is up. 8.2% of households do not do have any type of bank accounts, they deal strictly in cash. The U.S. median income is the lowest it has been since 1995. One third of Americans are now in lower classes since Obama took office. The First Lady of the United States has declared that "obesity is absolutely the greatest threat to our national security"??? New York City is voting on whether to ban Big Gulp class drinks from sale??? Be prepared for things to get a lot worse in the Mid-East, that is exactly what the powers behind these problems want. Unfortunately, the destabilization is going to have a very hard financial impact on us at home here in the U.S. Tourism around the world is going to become more dangerous. Fuel costs are going to keep going up. Prices on goods are going to keep rising and eventually skyrocket, and we are going to see the worst falling away from the Constitution and the country the Founding Fathers envisioned if Obama is re-elected in November. America will not be the same in 2016 if that happens. Now more than ever, we must remove the future threat to our country by Barack Obama by electing Mitt Romney in 2012. We cannot allow our country to be run by a person who is a party to the destabilization of the world. We need to have someone that can effectively put together programs and budgets that will bring our country back to a balanced budget, allow for reduction in our debt and re-stabilization of our economy, foreign affairs and our Constitution. May God Bless America and us, we need it!

"One Nation Under Socialism"

Have you ever wondered how someone knew enough in advance to paint a picture that would perfectly describe an event of the future? Jon McNaughton has done this. The only thing he left out was Justice John Roberts standing behind Obamao with a smile on his face. McNaughton is an artist in Utah that has put his frustrations into art to show what has happened to our country. I have three of his prints at my office in the lobby for all to see when they enter. I am not promoting his business, but if you would like, here is a link to see more of the art and political statements he has created. http://www.mcnaughtonart.com Today's Supreme Court decision of 5-4 upholding "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010" or Obamacare as we commonly know it, is a death blow to our country. This could be one of the darkest days known to the United States of America. This country cannot survive a program that adds over $500 BILLION in new taxes, cuts Medicare by $500 BILLION and calculating in these two changes, still costs us TRILLIONS of DOLLARS MORE! The taxes alone will spin us into a recession. The deficits created by the program will BANKRUPT our country! We cannot continue to put programs into place that put us further into debt! Also, we are allowing the government to make the medical care choices for us and determine if we as individuals are worth the cost of medical treatment decided by our age, our health and whether we can contribute to the society enough to justify the cost of that treatment. We certainly do not want programs that remove the personal decision freedoms granted us by the Constitution, given to us by our Heavenly Father and protected by all those men and women who have served and died protecting their families, our country and our Constitution. What John Roberts did by agreeing with the progressive and liberal judges was: 1. Declared himself a liberal/progressive. 2. Put our country into a crisis. 3. Made Obamao happy. 4. Made the leaches looking for everything from our federal government happy. 5. Put a fire under the freedom lovers, Constitution supporters, capitalism supporters and true patriots in this country. He might have done us a favor and given us a blessing in disguise. This could be the final thing that ignites the fury of conservatives in the country and brings an overwhelming defeat to the progressives controlling the White House, Congress and the administration in Washington DC. S.A.L.T. Stand a little taller. Our need for action is now. Talk to your family members, extended family, friends, neighbors, associates, employees, employers, church members, and club or association members. Make sure they understand the need for action. Make sure that they have registered to vote. Offer to take them to the polls so they can vote. Put signs in your yard, on your fences; stickers on your cars and trucks; pins on your lapel or pocket. But most importantly, BELIEVE IN AMERICA! Romney 2012. "What the court did not do on its last day in session, I will do on my first day if elected president of the United States, and that is I will act to repeal ObamaCare. What the court did today was say that ObamaCare does not violate the Constitution. What they did not do was say that ObamaCare is good law or that it's good policy. ObamaCare was bad policy yesterday. It's bad policy today." - Mitt Romney - June 28, 2012 (This is the guy that is not a communist.) Prayers should be a part of each of our lives. Our future should be included in them. Ask for a better future for you, your children and their children. Then work to make it happen. May God Bless America and us! We need it!

Still Have Your Chain Link Armored Underwear?

I wish I was kidding about the title. I think we are going to need them. By August or September at the latest, the rest of the country is going to realize, we are in a very softening position in the economy again. Today is not a good day in the markets, mostly brought about by some really bad news in the economic index releases today. Obamao, if you were an employee, you would have received your walking papers today. If you were a student, you would have flunked with a BOLD CAPITAL "F"! The lies and fluffing of numbers must end and the truth must be known. Your programs have not worked and the solid proof was in the reports this morning. Here is what we saw this morning: Non-Farm Employment Change Change in the number of employed people during the previous month, excluding the farming industry; May Actual +69,000 - May Forecast +151,000 - April Revised down to +77,000 from +115,000 So they actually missed their forecast by 82,000 jobs, had the unemployment rate jump up to 8.2% and then revised their jobs number from April down 38,000 jobs. In case you didn't know, the "previous month" numbers have been revised down almost every month since 2009. The government is pushing out higher numbers every month than the actual and then revise them backwards the following month on a Friday after the markets have closed so that they get lost in the weekend. Thank you Labor Department, we are so glad you tell us the truth every month or should I say the month after the false reports are released. It kind of infuriates me to think that our government lies to us so much, but then what do we know? We are just peons that don't know what is good for us. Put that 16+ ounce cup back on the rack, you don't need to drink that much. Average Hourly Earnings Month to Month Change in the price businesses pay for labor, excluding the farming industry; May Actual +0.1% - May Forecast +0.2% - April Revised +0.1% Remember the old supply and demand rule? There was not a tightening in the available labor pool, so the cost of the labor does not go up like expected. Core PCE Price Index Month to Month Change in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers, excluding food and energy; May Actual +0.1% - May Forecast +0.2% - April +0.2% This is good in the sense that the cost of items will not go up as much as expected, however, it also means that the demand on those same goods is down which means our economy is cooling off even more! Personal Spending Month to Month Change in the inflation-adjusted value of all expenditures by consumers; May Actual +0.3% - May Forecast +0.3% - April Revised Down to +0.2% from +0.3% Not a big change by any means. Especially not enough to drive an economic recovery! Personal Income Month to Month Change in the total value of income received from all sources by consumers; May Actual +0.2% - May Forecast +0.4% - April +0.4% Unfortunately there was a lesser increase in income this month than from the previous month's increase. This will not be helpful in pushing an economic recovery either. Final Manufacturing PMI Level of a diffusion index based on surveyed purchasing managers in the manufacturing industry; May 54.0 - April 53.9 Above 50.0 indicates industry expansion, below indicates contraction. 54.0 is by no means an expansion number. It is barely above stagnant. Institute for Supply Management Manufacturing PMI Level of a diffusion index based on surveyed purchasing managers in the manufacturing industry; May Actual 53.5 - May Forecast 54.0 - April 54.8 This is a drop of 1.3 from April and .5 below the expected index. Does this match up to the word on the street of softening freight volumes? Construction Spending Month to Month Change in the total amount builders spent on construction projects; May Actual +0.3% - May Forecast +0.4% - April +0.3% May should be a larger increase because of the seasonal increase due to weather. It landed below the forecast and far below the number needed to show a recovery. Institute for Supply Management Manufacturing Prices Level of a diffusion index based on surveyed purchasing managers in the manufacturing industry; May Actual 47.5 - May Forecast 57.1 - April 61.0 This is a component of PMI but reported separately as an inflation gauge. Above 50.0 indicates rising prices, below indicates falling prices. A drop in prices means low demand! The numbers above are reported from Forex Factory. They are a great source for investors on key index and government reports on the economy. In April, the Cass Freight Index Report showed a freight volume increase of +0.2% from April 2011. Anyone remember their feelings about the economy in 2011? Let me help you, we were all still very concerned about where we were heading and when things would pick up. However the cost of freight expenditures was up +5.1%! Higher costs at the same freight levels are not good. That means you are seeing a real inflation factor without the pressure of volume pushing it! For those that don't remember or never learned some of those simple economic rules, you get worried when you see this. The word on the street, sometimes the best index; I am hearing that freight is down. Costs are up even though we are seeing a very recent relaxing in the price of diesel fuel. Parts, tires and driver costs are still climbing. We have Diesel fuel price reductions. What would cause that? A simple drop in demand, an increase in inventories, an increase in production... Production in the U.S. refineries is at an all time high. Export of gasoline and diesel are at an all time high. Diesel exports are up 107% since August 2007. So it looks like our diesel cost reduction is being caused by lighter demand in the U.S. and increasing inventory levels. If the cost continues to go down, it is definitely a usage issue driving the reduction. When freight volumes begin to soften, there is a 90 day delay before the softening makes it to the retail and consumer level. In other words as the latest dates we will see it, August or September are going to have some soft economic numbers surface in the indexes. SUMMARY: Get out your chain link underwear. We may be on the edge of another slip in our economy. Imagine that. Europe is in a desperate situation trying to hold up the members of the Union that are not serious about making changes to improve their own economies. The Fed is printing money faster than we can even relate to. Think about it, well over THREE TRILLION DOLLARS in the last three years! We still have not seen the ugly side of inflation from that yet. The only thing saving us from hyper inflation is the recession we have not climbed clear of yet! We have president still demanding more stimulus spending and is pumping out executive orders like there is no tomorrow. I heard it best the other night on a late night radio show from an economist that was being interviewed. He basically stated that Romney is our only hope this year. He said we are getting ready to slip backwards again. If Romney is elected, it will be two to three years before the results of his suggested courses of action will generate positive results in the economy. In fact the first year of change will create some pain, and the second year of change will begin to see growth. The third year should begin to see the rewards of the change. The fourth year of change will be a year of relief, growth, and prosperity coming back to the middle class. I wish I was wrong, but I think we are in for more trouble. Good luck everyone! May God Bless America and all of us, we need it.

And the winner is...

I have two predictions for this post title.

GOP Presidential candidate: Mitt Romney

GOP Vice-President candidate: Paul Ryan

The first is an easy prediction at this time. It was a much more difficult prediction a few months back when I predicted it. But the "Winner Take All" theory I had has definitely come to play out as the strategy of the Romney campaign. And I might add, a very wise strategy it was. Maybe it takes a practice run before the real run for President. It seems the 2nd time around is magic for the GOP candidates for quite some time now. The first attempt is to figure out how it's done, the support they offer the party nationwide after they fail in their first attempt and then the run that is successful with the support earned from the GOP back room power holders.

Why Paul Ryan?

Marco Rubio is an excellent possibility, but he won't bring that much to the table that is needed right now. He is a first generation from Cuba immigrant descendant, born in Miami. With only 3.5% of the Hispanic population in the country being from Cuba, Rubio carries a large southern Florida following but not much beyond that when it is time to bring votes to the booth. Historically, the Hispanic vote in the national elections follows in groups of ancestral origin. They don't necessarily follow Hispanic candidates by just being Hispanic. Rubio does not bring a large female following with him either. He will definitely be a possibility for future campaigns, but for now, the economy is the tune of the day. Look for Rubio to be a close advisor and supporter this time and he will have his talents drawn on for Congressional support and influence after the election.

Chris Christie is not a likely person for the job. He declined a run for the presidential ticket which makes him not one showing a desire to be there. New Jersey will do well having him stay there and continue to help bring that state's problems back under control.

The same issue, no desire to make the run falls on the heads of Mike Pence, John Thune, Mitch Daniels, Nikki Haley, Susana Martinez, etc. They were looked to and asked, but declined.

Jon Huntsman, Tim Pawlenty, Herman Cain, Michelle Bachman. All no's. They didn't carry anything into the race in the first place. They could not bring anything to the voting booth that would be of benefit to the campaign ticket.

Sarah Palin. Hmmmmm. I don't think so. She was too vocal against Romney. Too supportive of Newt? I still don't understand that one at all! She has obviously had a talking to by someone of great influence and told to get behind the candidate or risk banishment back to Wasilla forever! But she has run out of fuel in the large spectrum. Look for her to stay at FOX News as a commentator and expert. It is more money than she could make anywhere else for quite some time and she does bring a certain amount of knowledge to their network.

Rick Santorum. Same problem as Sarah, he attacked too hard and has been whining too much. When you take your practice run, you don't attack the others with a vengeance and with hard feelings. His whining about a successful guy running for President and out spending him has not gone over well. There is still a large group of voters in this country that still believe that being conservative, religious and successful is something to be looked up to. Especially when that person has honor, integrity, truthfulness, morals and hope has major characteristics. Rick maybe the candidate who goes away never to be heard from again.

Newt Gingrich. Sorry Newt, you were way too attackish and spent a bundle on ads that tore down the reputation and record of someone by twisting around small clips of speeches and stretching the truth of issues to make Romney look like the guy who is already in the White House. Your Super Pac got way too aggressive and questionable in their tactics. It backfired on you and people wondered who you really were? The guy at the debates that seemed like the expert in everything or the guy willing to do anything to get to the White House no matter what the method was. Desperate guys scare people. They wonder what the agenda is behind the push. Those who have studied Newt's history and background have no doubt, he is a progressive.

Ron Paul. Ron is the Eveready Battery Bunny. He just keeps on going. He carries his "Paulists" with him wherever he goes. They are like zealots, they don't look to anything other than the words from his mouth. Ron could be a great help, but he is like Joe Biden. You wouldn't dare let him near a microphone, because even when he knows it is live, he says what comes to mind. With foreign affairs, you couldn't have Ron Paul as a possibility without wondering when he would start an international incident with one of his remarks. Look for Ron to be a huge strength in getting the fiscal matters back in order in Congress. Also look for his strong support of the ticket after the convention also. He is too old to try this again, and he certainly wants to get things done before he leaves Washington. He will jump on the wagon and use the momentum and his "Paulist" support to get things done in a way that he can smile about.

Paul Ryan. The guy who has worked with Romney on a few legislative amendments and changes to try and get key issues handled in Congress. The guy who endorsed Romney last week going into the Wisconsin Primary. The guy who has come out as the shining star in budget issues and fiscal items in Congress. He has potential, he has experience in the fiscal issues and he is one that could be looked to for further carrying the GOP torch beyond Romney in 2020. Romney also likes and endorses his budget proposals. Ryan is after all called the "budget master" by some in Congress.

You have my take on the race and the choosing of the 2nd seat on the ticket. Now we get to wait and see if it comes true or if Romney pulls a name out of the hat that shocks us all and gets us scrambling to find out who they really are like McCain did with Palin in 2008. But I don't see that happening. Romney is focused. He goes with the ones that have real known potential and can bring a profit to the table in a reasonable timetable. After all, it is the bottom line that counts.

BELIEVE IN AMERICA! ROMNEY in 2012!

May God Bless America and us! We need it!

It's Time To Stop The Waaaaaaaaaaaah!

Gingrich, Santorum; it's time to stop the waaaaaaaah! Seriously, Newt? He has to earn the nomination? Why don't we recap the delegate count right now. Romney - 655 Santorum - 278 Gingrich - 135 Paul - 51 Let's see, if my calculator in my head still works, Romney has more delegates than all of the rest of the candidates added together! Okay, I will get specific: Romney - 655 All the rest of them - 464 Satisfied? I would say that 58.53% of the delegates as of today means he has earned the nomination. In another way, that is a 17 point lead in percentages!

To officially have the nomination, he needs to win an additional 489 delegates. That is only 41.94% of the remaining delegates out there. Have you other candidates looked at the remaining state primaries to be held? My prediction is that Romney will win over 75% of them and will take somewhere in the neighborhood of an additional 685 delegates yet. The ones that you other guys had a chance in have mostly been held already.

If Sarah Palin can go on the NBC Today Show and be congenial towards Mitt Romney, then the rest of you can too. It is time to get on with kicking the free-loader out of the White House and get back to being the America that we once were. Now we need to consolidate the conservative voters, Republican voters, TEA Party voters, disillusioned Democrat voters and the youth voters. We have a candidate who can beat Obamao if we all get behind him. There will not be any "oh crap"'s after Romney is elected. He is not going to try and pull off a personal agenda or an agenda that has been launched in backrooms dating back to the communist organization in our country. We have a legitimate conservative, pro-capitalism, smart and focused candidate willing to sacrifice the next eight years of his life to get America back on the right track.

Now is the time to get behind him.

Believe In America! Romney in 2012!

May God Bless American and us, we need it!

Wow, I didn't see that one coming!

Okay, I missed the two big ones on Tuesday! Congratulations Santorum, you pulled a miracle off. Gingrich somehow lost what should have been his night for the taking. Romney had a setback in Alabama, he was looking for more. But I did get the others right and it came down as an all around win for Romney Tuesday Night, even though it was not a big win. According to the news, Santorum was the big winner, Romney was in third place and Gingrich took second with Paul falling to fourth. Let's see how they really did:

Delegates Won Tuesday
Romney 40
Santorum 37
Gingrich 21
Paul 3

Total Delegate Count
Romney 498
Santorum 239
Gingrich 139
Paul 69

Like I have said, the press is not telling the real story. Romney is 27.4 points ahead of Santorum, 38.0 points ahead of Gingrich and 45.4 points ahead of Paul.

Newt, the Romney camp should be thanking you for being so stubborn! Your stubbornness is keeping Romney well in the lead. No wonder Santorum wants him to quit! But even still, Romney has more delegates than all of the others combined by 5.4 points! That size of a spread is considered a landslide in a presidential election. There is no way Santorum is going to win if Romney keeps his same support going forward.

Romney in 2012 Believe in America!

May God Bless America, our troops in Afghanistan and us, we all need it!

Primary Predictions

Here are my GOP Primary/Caucus predictions. Now we will see if I am full of hot air or kind of know what I am talking about. Here goes:
Alabama - Romney by one or two points
American Samoa - Romney
Hawaii - Romney
Mississippi - Gingrich with Romney within two points
Puerto Rico - Romney
Illinois - Romney
Missouri - Santorum
Louisiana Primary - Gingrich
Maryland - Romney
Washington D.C. - Romney
Wisconsin - Romney
Connecticut - Romney
Delaware - Romney
New York - Romney
Pennsylvania - Santorum with Romney 8 points behind
Rhode Island - Romney
Louisiana Caucus - Gingrich
Indiana - Romney
North Carolina - Gingrich with Romney 6 points behind
West Virginia - Santorum
Oregon - Romney
Arkansas - Santorum
Kentucky - Santorum
Texas - Romney (I know this is a big leap, but they did elect Perry!)
California - Romney
New Jersey - Romney
New Mexico - Romney
South Dakota - Romney
Nebraska - Romney
Montana - Romney
Utah - Romney by over 35 points

This will put Romney over the top for the nomination with over 1200 delegates going into the convention.

If Gingrich drops out in April, then the delegate count will be easier to reach for Romney.

If Santorum drops out in April, The race is essentially over at his drop out day. This could possibly happen because of money problems. If Santorum does not win more than Missouri during the remainder of March and he shows low in his win in Pennsylvania on April 24, he will have to drop out of the race or seriously curtail his campaigning. He will not have the money to continue on into the other races in May where he had a chance of winning.

Paul... He's like the Eveready Battery Bunny, he just keeps on going. He will not drop out and he will not make an independent run. He will keep up his percentages that he has been accumulating. His supporters are just like him, they don't give up.

The final nomination will be Romney and someone that will add to his attractiveness for the general election. Then he will win by 4 points on November 6th. That will put an end to the Obamao regime, religions other than Islamic based sects will be able to relax again and we can start to get America back on track. That will also be the beginning of "Change" that we can stomach!

May God Bless America and us, we need it! Believe in America!

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

Politics and the media. Which is worse? PAC's. These things are really starting to drive me crazy. We all know that they are just a front for the candidates so megabucks can flow to the campaign coffers and attack ads can be blamed on some unknown group "that just happen to like me"! I really have not many people who like these other than rich control freaks and politicians. It is time they go away. They are interfering in local politics way too often and they get much too "attackish" (new word) in the campaign process. Clips are used out of context, the full sentence is always edited to make a point and the real facts are so far away from the end product that it becomes a very effective way to pull down an opponent. This is not the way to run political campaigns and elections in a country as great as ours. If you ever get the chance to vote against them, please do so.

Now on to the main topic. Mitt Romney. I am for him. I don't think he is perfect. But he is by far the most electable of the group. He is by far the best opponent to get rid of the Marxist sitting in the White House. He is by far the most capable of turning the economy switch back on and making sure that regulations are not used to massage the business sector into submission for agendas that seem to be so prevalent these days. If you have not read the book "No Apology", you need to so you can understand his whole program. It works, we have seen it all work at various times and in different places, just maybe, it might get put together all at once and in the same place!

As for Super Tuesday: It was a home run for Romney! I am getting very tired of listening to the media turn victories into just squeaking by the awesome Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich and the very persistent Ron Paul. Okay, I will admit, Ron Paul is very persistent! He is like the Eveready Battery Bunny, he just keeps on going. But rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich have had their butts handed to them on a silver platter! Face it you two, Romney has out thought you, out gamed you and outperformed you!

23 Primary/Caucuses so far. Romney has won 14 of them, 60.9% of them. Santorum has won 7, 30.4%. Gingrich has won 2, 8.7%. The Eveready Battery Bunny has not won any.

Of the votes: Romney: 3,174,900 / 40.6%. Santorum: 1,944,880 / 24.8%. Gingrich: 1,821,920 / 23.3% Really? People, read about this guy, he is not what he says he is! He was a college professor, he is a progressive, he has a temper, he is not that honest of a guy, he was controlled by Clinton, and he has had as many wives as the other three combined!) Paul: 887,070 11.3%. He wins this by 15.8% points!

Of the Delegates: Romney 429 / 54.8%. Santorum 169 / 21.6%. Gingrich 118 / 15.1%. Paul 67 / 8.6%. He wins this by 33.2% points! He is 37.5% of the needed delegates to win.

And now, this is where he is kicking the competition into yesterday. He has won 100% of the Winner Take All Primary/Caucuses so far! 14 out of 14! He is 100% points ahead of everyone else in this category.

Does this sound like a nice statistic or do you think we have the smartest guy in the race out campaigning as the ex-governor of Massachusetts? He has put all of his heavy resources into the states with winner take all races and in the states that are key states in the general election. This guy is in it to win and knows how to do it! There are no states being missed by his campaign because of missed deadlines, shortage of signatures or just stupid slip ups. There is not much wasted time by the heavy hitters in the campaign and there is certainly an appetite for results in this organization. Wow, that kind of sounds like what we want for a Chief Executive of our country isn't it?

But then there are the shortcoming that he has. Let's review them. He donates way too much of his time without pay. Two years as a missionary when he was 19. Numerous years in local church leadership positions. Governor of Massachusetts. CEO of the Salt Lake Olympic Games.

He only pays what he owes in taxes! Can you believe this? Why doesn't he pay more than he owes. A simple calculator will show that he paid full taxes, mostly capital gains tax. Only rich guys do that! I hate it when people are successful and then pay the taxes they owe on what they earned.

He spends way too much money! He gave out about 15% of his income in contributions to charitable organizations! Why I bet he and his wife even donate a lot of their time doing charitable work and volunteer work also. They probably taught all of their sons this same trait also. Watch out for those conservatives, they like to pass their way of life down through the generations.

He is happy! The guy smiles way too much! No one can be that happy can they? Why does he try and act happy all of the time?

He is successful. Ooooooooooh, that really makes me angry! How can anyone be successful without cheating? He has to be cheating. No one is successful by outthinking the competition, working harder than the other guy and refusing to accept anything but best effort.

See. He has all kinds of flaws. He has no history that anyone has been able to dig up dirt in. He has a spine. No one pushes him around. He has shown that he won't tolerate being accused of something that is not him. He has character that best selling self improvement books are written about. He has compassion, look at all of the money he gives a way! He has determination. Look at his success record. Coaches would give anything for his win/loss record. And he is a nice guy. He has conviction about what is right and wrong. He is very religious and expects everyone to be able to have the same religious freedoms as his own and will protect others when theirs are being infringed on.

Seriously, please read his book "No Apology". It covers education, energy, business, foreign affairs, military, government, the economy, welfare, healthcare reform, regulatory reform, taxes, spending, judicial appointments, illegal immigration, border securement, religion, transportation... Kind of like the Ragu bottle, it's in there.

Born 1776 - Died 2008

When I first saw the photo that I have as my Blog header, I laughed. Today I looked at it and ached. It is true. Did this death come on suddenly in 2008? No. We have let it happen over decades of sitting on the sidelines and letting them do to us what they would. We didn't always sit quietly, but we didn't follow up our protests with action. We watched as we let abortion become the largest killer in our country. We sat by and watched our "heroes" become pompous brats, covered with tattoos and piercings and being paid to act badly in public. We watched as we sent our young men and women to die in wars that we didn't really want to fight but yet we wanted to right some wrongs, but do it without offending anyone. We watched as our schools turned against prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotism, history told truthfully, teaching the importance of trying your best, courtesy, and punishment for bad behavior. We watched as our politicians were sent to represent us and then most lost their souls and turned their service into a personal power grab and longevity contest while helping the progressives to fundamentally change our country to something much different than what we grew up with and what our parents and grandparents would have recognized. We watched as we have had freedoms, rights and liberties stripped from us because "it was for our best interest"? We watched as we let the world condemn Christianity for "their hatred" of anyone who wanted to stretch the norms of social morals. We watched as our judges told us we were wrong in our beliefs and that we had to become more accommodating in our allowing others to do whatever they wanted to do. We watched as we let the family fall apart and become something odd in our society instead of the bastion of our communities. And we watched as we became a weak, embarrassed people not willing to speak out for truth, virtue and honor for fear of being labeled a "hatist" by those telling us that we were old fashioned and out of touch with the new world and its inhabitants.

So welcome to what we created.

I am saddened by the fight taking place in the Republican Party Primary process. We are watching the same thing happen there. When did cheating on your wife at least two separate times become a qualification for President of the United States of America by two separate candidates? When did turning away from Israel become a plank in the platform for the party? I could go on with a lot more, but you understand what I am talking about. We have watched three very strong candidates attacked because of who they are. Two are left. One is being told to step out of the race because he is not qualified to be President yet he has been ahead in the polls and primary results of the one telling him to step down. One is being made out as the bad guy of the race because he was successful? A guy who has served as a governor without pay, the Olympic Games boss without pay, has donated over 15% of all of his earnings in charitable contributions, has served in numerous leadership positions and service positions for decades without pay and has not attacked the others but focused his efforts on replacing the current President. We are sitting watching again.

S.A.L.T. This can mean many things. A food additive, a food preservative, an international military treaty, or my favorite meaning as told by Gordon B. Hinckley, a small statured man who I viewed as a giant among men. He explained it as STAND A LITTLE TALLER.

Why would standing a little taller mean so much coming from such a physically small man? Because we have all shrunk back from our responsibilities and duties. We have let the pressure of the world push us down, the fear of being perceived as a "hatist" or a "bigot", the feeling that it is easier to stay low and shrink into the background of the world than to speak out for truth, virtue, liberty and justice.

We all need to stand tall, stand in the right place and speak out and act in defense of truth, virtue, liberty and justice. It is time to choose whom it is that you want to represent you, whom you want to represent our country to the world and whom you want to lead us back to a society that remembers and honors the things we were taught by our parents, grandparents and Founding Fathers.

Personally I believe this person to be Mitt Romney. I have read volumes about him studying him and looking for something to make me worry. I have not found it. I have read volumes about the other candidates also. One that is left is someone I could stand behind if Mitt did not win the nomination. The others I have walked away from. If you have a different choice, make sure that they are truly honorable in all aspects of their life. If they aren't, then walk away from them and join support for someone who is.

As a country, we cannot survive any further movement down the road we are on. We need to return to the basics of our country. The basics that our Founding Fathers believed in. We need to return to "one nation under God", for without His help we will not survive. Without recognizing Him as the One that we owe our success to and all that we have gained to, we will not survive.

And finally, wise words from one of those Founding Fathers:
"Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station, it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes, and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success the functions allotted to his charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good, I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own, nor those of my fellow-citizens at large less than either. No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency; and in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their united government the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities from which the event has resulted cannot be compared with the means by which most governments have been established without some return of pious gratitude, along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which the past seem to presage. These reflections, arising out of the present crisis, have forced themselves too strongly on my mind to be suppressed. You will join with me, I trust, in thinking that there are none under the influence of which the proceedings of a new and free government can more auspiciously commence.
I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my country can inspire, since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people...

Having thus imparted to you my sentiments as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave; but not without resorting once more to the benign Parent of the Human Race in humble supplication that, since He has been pleased to favor the American people with opportunities for deliberating in perfect tranquility, and dispositions for deciding with unparalleled unanimity on a form of government for the security of their union and the advancement of their happiness, so His divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this Government must depend.
